Speeding Ticket outcome - 10/7/11
Driving 46 miles over the limit
Our Associate, Matthew Dourdis, represented our client in Somerset County who was clocked driving 101 miles per hour - 46 miles per hour over the speed limit. In addition, our client had been convicted of a DUI a year prior to the speeding citation. As the rate of speed at which our client was clocked was considered egregious, and since our client had been convicted of driving under the influence only one year before, the circumstances called for the suspension of our client's license. After extensive dialogue with our client, we were able to ascertain invaluable information which we used to argue our client's case in a plea. Not only was the speed amended, but our client was able to drive home with minimal community service as judgment. With no doubt, the open lines of communication we had with our client enabled us to get this excellent result. It is this very type of relationship that we foster with each client that allows us to effectively represent them.
