Mr. Simon who is one of New Jersey's "Premier DUI Attorneys". As Managing Partner of the Simon Law Group, LLC he believes that continuing not only his education but the education of all of the other attorneys in this office, no matter their practice area.

Most recently, Britt received advanced level training from The American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys. Specifically he was taught how to use the results of the Onset of Nystagmus Prior to 45 Degrees to aid in winning his cases.

The nystagmus is the involuntary jerking of the eyes, and is one of the most often used field sobriety tests throughout the country. The test generally involves an office having the driver follow his pen light or finger with his Certain drugs and alcohol can cause nystagmus. Should there be an Onset of Nystagmus Prior to 45 Degrees this is a very good sign that their is a blood alcohol content of higher than 0.8.

With any of the field sobriety tests, accuracy is a must for the police to secure the DUI/DWI conviction. With advanced training your attorney will be able to review these procedures to find fault with how the tests were conducted, with the eventual goal of having the charges dropped.

This training was provided to Association Members by Steven Glasgow. Mr. Glasgow is an AAPDA State Ambassador for Illinois.
