Public notice
How this notice applies
This page explains the website, portal, and online-tool terms that apply when you use Simon Law Group's public and client-facing digital services.
This notice sets out the ethics and compliance statements that apply across Simon Law Group's public pages, forms, chat, payment flows, testimonials, attorney profiles, and resource downloads, consistent with the New Jersey Rules of Professional Conduct.
Attorney Advertising
This website may be considered attorney advertising. Prior results, testimonials, case examples, awards, credentials, and statements about experience are provided for general information only. They do not guarantee a similar outcome in any future matter.
Legal Information, Not Legal Advice
Public website content is general legal information. It is not legal advice for a specific person or matter. Legal advice depends on facts, deadlines, venue, documents, conflicts, and the applicable law at the time advice is given.
No Attorney-Client Relationship
Submitting a form, using chat, scheduling a consultation, downloading a resource, making a payment, or using the client portal does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. Representation begins only after conflict screening, firm acceptance, and a signed engagement letter or retainer agreement.
Confidentiality Boundaries
Visitors should not send confidential documents or sensitive facts through public forms or chat until the firm confirms that it can discuss the matter. Once representation exists, confidentiality and privilege are governed by the engagement relationship, applicable law, and the New Jersey Rules of Professional Conduct.
Fees, Retainers, and Trust Funds
Fee terms are controlled by the engagement letter. Retainers, replenishment, payment routing, refunds, trust accounting, and IOLTA handling are subject to applicable engagement terms, payment disclosures, New Jersey attorney-trust-account rules, and fee-arbitration rights where applicable.
Conflicts
The firm may be unable to represent a prospective client because of a conflict of interest or another professional responsibility issue. Intake communications are reviewed before representation is accepted.
Jurisdiction and Venue
Simon Law Group primarily serves New Jersey legal matters unless a specific attorney admission, court permission, or associated-counsel arrangement applies. Website content should not be read as an offer to represent clients in jurisdictions where the firm is not authorized to practice.
