Public notice
How this notice applies
This page explains the website, portal, and online-tool terms that apply when you use Simon Law Group's public and client-facing digital services.
Effective Date: 2026-05-04
1. Purpose
This Policy explains how Simon Law Group, LLC ("SLG") makes changes to the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and other policies that govern your use of https://www.simonattorneys.com (the "Site") and https://app.simonattorneys.com (the "App").
2. Why we may change
We may update our policies to:
- reflect changes in features or vendors;
- comply with new or changed laws and regulations;
- respond to feedback or operational needs;
- correct errors.
3. Methods of notice
For material changes, we will give notice through one or more of:
- a banner on the Site or App;
- email to the address on file;
- in-Portal notification;
- direct mail (where appropriate).
We update the Last Updated date at the top of each affected document and maintain a copy of the prior version available on request.
4. Notice period
For material changes that affect your rights or obligations, we provide at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect, unless:
- a shorter period is needed to comply with law or to address a security or operational risk; in which case we will provide the longest practicable notice; or
- the change is solely beneficial to you (for example, expanding a right) and takes effect immediately.
5. Acceptance
For non-material changes, continued use of the Site or App after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
For material changes (changes that affect your rights, obligations, fees, dispute-resolution, or sensitive-data processing), acceptance requires:
- continued use of the Site or App after the effective date; and
- an affirmative click-through acknowledgment on your next login to the App or first material interaction with the Site (whichever comes first).
The click-through is recorded in the consent log. Some changes — for example, changes that materially expand the scope of arbitration, class-action waivers, or limitations of liability — require affirmative consent under New Jersey law and will not take effect for you until you accept them through the click-through described above. Browse-wrap acceptance is not sufficient for material changes (see Hoffman v. Supplements Togo Mgmt., LLC, 419 N.J. Super. 596 (App. Div. 2011)).
6. Right to disagree
If you do not accept a change, you may:
- stop using the Site or App;
- request data export or deletion under the Privacy Policy; and
- contact us to discuss alternatives.
Termination of representation, where it applies, is governed by your engagement letter and RPC 1.16.
7. Prior versions
Prior versions of each policy are archived. A public Version History page is maintained at https://www.simonattorneys.com/legal/history listing each document's effective date, version, and a brief change summary. Request a copy of any specific prior version at info@simonattorneys.com.
